Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions, and their answers.

I found an injured animal :

What do I do?

The best thing you can do if you find an animal in need is to call a professional to come and collect the animal. We know how best to handle and care for injured animals. Injured animals do not understand that you are trying to help them and you could be putting yourself in danger by getting to close.

Who do I call?

You can always call the Phoenix Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at 410-628-9736. If we are not the proper person to handle the situation, we can help you contact them.

What can go wrong?

There are numerous stories of people trying to help injured animals and getting seriously injured, or even killed. Let us do what we do best.
